3.3 Psychosoziale und Medizinische Rehabilitation Scope & Ethos

Quantitative and qualitative research methods are welcome. Articles are published in print in German; for selected articles, English versions are also available in parallel via open access.

The interest in a study or its probable effects does not influence editorial decisions. The studies must be scientifically valid. For research articles, this means that they contain a scientifically sound research question and the application of appropriate methods and analyses and that they comply with the scientific and ethical standards relevant to the field of research.

3.4 Editor Code of Conduct

Psychosoziale und Medizinische Rehabilitation aims to create an environment in which validated, trustworthy research is possible.

The editors of a journal also play an important role in promoting knowledge in the research areas.

They do this by:

  1. Maintaining and improving the quality of the work published by the journal
  2. Maintaining and improving the integrity of their peer review process
  3. Supporting the authors and reviewees of the journal
  4. Maintaining and improving the journal’s reputation in cooperation with the journal’s wider editorial team and Pabst Science Publishers.
